Public showing of the game has previously been limited to cinematic trailers, with the gameplay footage only being shown behind closed doors.

Both fan and critical reception has been mixed at best, but I'm holding out hope that Crystal Dynamics can make it work.

In the expanded footage below, we get a good look at the "A-Day" prologue mission, which will act as a tutorial for players. The gameplay shows off how the Avengers handle and the gameplay associated with their respective powers and abilities.

Marvel's Avengers will see players stepping into the boots (or torn shorts) of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Black Widow on May 15, 2020, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
