Sony Bend has wrapped production on its upcoming open-world zombie-slaying PlayStation 4 exclusive, Days Gone. The studio posted on Twitter to announce the news ahead of its April 26 release.

With primary development completed, the game will now make its way to manufacturers and before it hits physical and digital stores next month. The team will most likely spend the next month or so making tweaks and bug fixes in preparation for a day one patch before they get a well-deserved break.

Days Gone sees players stepping into the boots of Deacon St. John, as he fights his way through the apocalypse. Players will have to use their smarts and motorbike to stay one step ahead of the massive hordes of freakers (Sony Bend's fancy name for zombies).

We don't have long to wait to see how Deacon's story plays out, with Days Gone launching exclusively on PlayStation 4 on April 26.
