Megahyped space exploration game No Man's Sky has been delayed, according to sources at Kotaku.
Though no revised date has been announced, two independent sources were cited, including one at US retailer GameStop.
GameStop has been issued with "Coming Soon" stickers and instructions to cover up the game's June 21st release date on display materials.
That date was set just two months ago, though clearly the final stages of development are taking longer than expected.
Vlambeer co-founder Rami Ismail jokingly tweeted that the game's quintillions of worlds would take a while for Sony to certify:
Hearing rumors No Man's Sky is delayed.— Rami Ismail (@tha_rami) May 26, 2016
If true, I suspect the certification checkbox "check all content before submitting" is the culprit.
No Man's Sky was announced in 2013 and has since been subject to immense anticipation; we'll update as soon as Sony or Hello Games comments on the delay.
