A patch that fixes the PlayStation 4’s Rest Mode issues is available now.

The update, firmware v2.01, is a shade over 200 megabytes.

The patch notes read: "System software stability during use of some features has been improved."

Along with getting Rest Mode back online, it fixes issues with the console’s new YouTube app, and an error that didn’t allow you to delete messages.

We’ve tested it on Gameplanet’s PlayStation 4 and sure enough, everything seems to now be working fine.

Earlier this week, PlayStation 4's firmware update v2.00 caused console lock-ups and saw the PlayStation 4 Evolve beta slightly delayed.
