Obsidian has announced that it's working on a Pillars of Eternity patch to fix a number of issues reported by users.

Ahead of the patch the developer has also suggested some workarounds for the most common issues.

Among the reported issues are framerate drops, crashes on 32-bit PCs, the inability to launch the game unless in administrator mode, the inability to save, issues with animal companions, repeated sound effects, and delayed audio.

Patch 1.03 will be released some time this week, said Obsidian. In the meantime, users experiencing difficulties with the game should visit the Obsidian forums and explore workarounds.

Gameplanet's Pillars of Eternity review will be published this week.
