Sign-ups are now open for the alpha test of asymmetric multiplayer shooter Evolve.

The alpha opens on Xbox One on October 31, then PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on November 1. It closes on all platforms on November 3.

An Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus account is required to play the game on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 respectively.

You can register your interest by visiting the official site and entering one of the following codes: 63334-59648-17396 or 08347-97365-66457.

Those who pre-order the game by October 21 will be guaranteed alpha access.

"The incredible reactions from early Evolve players have exceeded our highest expectations, but we still have a lot of hard work ahead of us in the coming months,” said Turtle Rock Studios co-founder Chris Ashton.

“We need to stress test the servers and the matchmaking system, look at balance, unlock rates, etcetera.

"The alpha test is not fully representative of the final product, but it’s our chance to see what the game looks like in the real world, and we will test again in the open beta for Evolve exclusively for Xbox One in January 2015."

Evolve is scheduled to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC on February 10.
