Assassin's Creed Unity's Season Pass includes two completely new adventures: an epilogue to the Unity campaign, and a standalone 2.5D title.
The latter is called Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China, and it will deliver a new story, setting, and gameplay type.
Developed by Climax Studios (Silent Hill: Origins, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories), ACC:C takes place in the 16th century, when the last remaining Assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood has returned to her homeland to avenge her fallen allies.
It stars Shao Jun, who first appeared in the animated film Assassin's Creed Embers.
“Hell-bent on revenge, Shao Jun will use the skills she learned under legendary Assassin Ezio Auditore to exact vengeance,” said Ubisoft.
“Players will be immersed in a vibrant setting, inspired by traditional brush paintings and Chinese architecture from a pivotal, historic time period in one of the greatest civilizations in history,” said Ubisoft.
The game will include famous landmarks such as the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City.
The other adventure – Unity’s epilogue – is called Dead Kings, and is set in Saint Denis in 1794 following the events of Unity. Here, Arno has a new weapon in the form of a Guillotine Gun, but also new adversaries called The Raiders.
It is "the darkest story we've ever told in the franchise," said creative director Alex Amancio.
Dead Kings also features three new co-op missions back in Paris.
The Season Pass also includes 30 new items including launch day bonus the Fleur de Lys Sword. Those who pre-order the pass will receive the a double-handed war axe for use in Unity and Dead Kings.
Assassin's Creed Unity is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC on November 13.
