The fifth expansion for World of Warcraft will launch on November 13 on PC and Mac, Blizzard has announced.
Warlords of Draenor takes place in a new world called Draenor, the home of the orcs and draenei.
It is split into seven zones and includes new battlegrounds, bosses, dungeons and raids.
The expansion bends time to reintroduce characters and stories that precede the first Warcraft real-time strategy game, Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, released in November 1994.
“Across Draenor's savage jungles and battle-scarred plains, Azeroth's heroes will engage in a mythic conflict involving mystical draenei champions and mighty orc clans, and cross axes with the likes of Grommash Hellscream, Blackhand, and Ner’zhul at the height of their primal power,” said Blizzard.
“Players will need to scour this unwelcoming land in search of allies to help build a desperate defense against the old Horde’s formidable engine of conquest – or else watch their own world’s bloody, war-torn history repeat itself.”
Warlords raises World of Warcraft’s level cap to 100, and players can boost one character to level 90 in order to jump straight into the new content.
It also includes cosmetic updates to many of the game’s character models, and allows players to build customisible bases of operation called garrisons.
At launch, there will not be flying mounts.
