Survival horror title Outlast has been classified in Australia, just in time for its appearance on PlayStation Plus.

The horror title was given an R18 certificate by the Australian Classification Board, which noted that the game contains high impact themes as well as its strong impact violence and sex.

The game is available on Steam now, and its PlayStation 4 version will pop up on PlayStation Plus tomorrow.

It was also classified in Germany, but Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, India, and Turkey, all missed out, and will get Sound Shapes on PlayStation Plus instead.

"Outlast succeeds memorably in its aim of terrorising gamers," wrote Gameplanet's Ben Allan in his September review of the game.
