Gamers who pre-ordered select titles including Diablo III from GAME Australia were left in the lurch a fortnight ago when the retailer went into administration and announced that it was unable honour or reimburse those purchases.

However Blizzard announced shortly thereafter that it would reimburse the cost of any Diablo III pre-order made at GAME if those players bought the game direct on Battle.Net before May 21st.

Now Blizzard has outlined how those customers can be credited for their subsequent Battle.Net purchase.

Eligible customers must submit a legible photo or scan of a full GAME Australia pre-order receipt in .jpeg format via their Battle.Net account.

Those who pre-ordered a physical Collector’s Edition will have the remaining balance credited in the form of a Battle.Net Balance that can be used to make digital purchases of products and services across Blizzard’s recent titles.

Full instructions on the submission process can be found here. The reimbursement process will close on June 30, 2012.
