Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding is no longer exclusive to the PlayStation 4.

The game has been announced as coming to PC in the middle of 2020, with 505 Games handling publishing duties.

"We are extremely excited and honored to be working with the supremely talented team at Kojima Productions and to bring Death Stranding to PC gamers around the world,” said 505 Games co-founder and CEO Raffi Galante.

505 is yet to confirm which digital storefronts will support Death Stranding, although its recently released Control was exclusive to the Epic Games Store.

Even before its first reveal on Sony's stage at E3 2016, Death Stranding has been closely tied to PlayStation, although steely-eyed folks noticed numerous clues that the game would be coming to other platforms.

While details regarding plot and gameplay for Death Stranding have left many unsure just what the game is about, the game will feature a notable cast, including Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Guillermo del Toro, and Lea Seydoux.

Death Stranding releases for PlayStation 4 on November 8, while Gameplanet's Billy Atman is plugging away at the game as we speak – stay tuned for his full review.
