It's time to refuel the bike and head back to the Pacific Northwest. PlayStation 4 exclusive, Days Gone is set to receive an update next week which will add a New Game Plus mode, allowing players to play through the story again with "previously earned weapons, bike upgrades, NERO boosters, skills, recipes, encampment trust and credits, collectibles, and trophy progress unlocked from the beginning."

Announced on the PlayStation Blog, New Game Plus will arrive on September 13 and can be initiated from any saved game, provided the "I'm Never Giving Up" storyline has been completed. Players will have access to all of the previous difficulties along with two new ones in the form of "Hard II" and "Survival II". Both new difficulties can be played by new players too, but you'll probably want to start with one a tad easier for your first time through.

On top of New Game Plus, the update will also feature new trophies, "Including one related to a mysterious new weapon from an agent that only operates in the shadows." The weapon in question looks to be the MB-150 sniper rifle, which appeared in a couple of the previous Syphon Filter games, which were also developed by Sony Bend.

Bend has continued to support the game post-launch with new content and challenges. I've been holding off revisiting after completing my first playthrough, so September 13 looks like the perfect time to head back to Deacon's world.
