The director for Sony's Uncharted film, Dan Trachtenberg has left the project due to "creative differences."

Trachtenberg was brought on at the beginning of this year, after the departure of Shawn Levy. This now marks the fifth director to leave the project.

In addition to directors, the Uncharted project has had a number of writers and actors attached at one time or another.

The recently created PlayStation Productions has now stepped in to oversee production, while actor Tom Holland is still set to star as the young Nathan Drake.

Here's hoping the film can be pulled together in time for its release date of December 2020.

If not, there's always the fan film starring Nathan Fillion to satisfy those left wanting.
