With all of the massive news at E3 this year, it's easy to miss the smaller announcements.
Nestled amongst all of the big news, we today learned that the Switch magicians, Panic Button and publishers Perfect World Entertainment have announced that Torchlight II is making the leap to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this September.
Torchlight II originally released on PC in 2012 to critical acclaim and holds an impressive 88 on review aggregate site, Metacritic. Developed by Runic Games on PC, Torchlight II sees players making their way through randomly-generated dungeons as one of four character classes. During their journey, players will come up against increasingly challenging foes, all the while bagging a tonne of new loot, weapons and gear.
The console port will feature multiplayer, allowing players to battle their way through progressively more challenging encounters. Making the transition to console, has also lead to an overhaul of the game's controls, a new targeting system and some exclusive pets for players to take on their journey.
