The publisher of Cities Skyline, Surviving Mars and other sim titles, Paradox Interactive has launched a modding platform for its games, that will see community mods making their way to Xbox One and PC.

Paradox Mods will allow players to upload and download mods through GoG or the Paradox game launcher. With initial support focused on Surviving Mars, the Paradox Mod site already features over two hundred mods for Surviving Mars, Stellaris and Cities: Skyline.

Anders Törlind, Product Owner for Paradox Mods, stated “Modding has been, and remains an important part of the Paradox community. As we have diversified the way we distribute our games, we want to make sure all our players can take part in the creation process,” and that the company "look forward to unlocking the world of modding for all members of our community, regardless of what system they are using to play our games.”

Paradox Interactive intends to add mod support for its other titles at a later date. In addition to Paradox Mods, the new update also adds keyboard and mouse support to Surviving Mars on Xbox One.
