Skybound Entertainment has confirmed that work has resumed on The Walking Dead: The Final Season in the wake of Telltale's closure.
"It’s been a ton of work logistically and legally to get us to a place where we’re able to roll up our sleeves and get to the actual work," said Skybound.
The time spent sorting legalities since the closure of Telltale has resulted in a delay for the final two episodes of the season.
Skybound confirmed back in October that it would complete the remaining episodes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season, but that there were still many details to "iron out."
In addition to sorting through the red tape associated with IP rights, Skybound has also ensured that work carried out on the remainder of the season would be done by members of the original Telltale team.
