Square Enix and developer Eidos Montreal have released a new video featuring ten minutes of Shadow of the Tomb Raider gameplay and an expanded look at the games new central hub, Paititi.
Narrative Director Jason Davoiz takes Lara through a lush bustling village where Lara will be able to trade supplies, take on side-quests or even pat big fluffy alpacas. Along with resting and trading between major missions, players will also find hidden crypts and challenge tombs in the central hub. You'll have to keep your eyes peeled to find these as some of them deviously hidden away from plain sight.
The latter half of the new gameplay video shows Lara entering one of the upcoming game's Challenge Tombs, with Lara making her way through the treacherous terrain with her signature acrobatic skills and puzzle solving.
Any players familiar with Lara's previous adventures knows what to expect. Lara's hunting, combat and traversal skills are also at their zenith, making her a deadly force to be reckoned with and a tiny bit terrifying in her ferocity and efficiency in which she dispatches her enemies.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is shaping up to be Lara's darkest journey yet, with dire repercussions following her meddling with ancient undisturbed locales and artifacts.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on September 14.
