It looks like colourful Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive is coming to PC.

A rating for “Sunset Overdrive PC” just popped up on the Korean Game Ratings Board website, which has an extremely reliable track record with this sort of thing.

Expect to hear more at E3.

We’re massive fans of Insomniac Games’ loopy Jet Set Radio-infused shooter here at Gameplanet.

“If you have an Xbox One, you need this in your life,” wrote Alan Bell in his enthusiastic 2014 review.

Sunset Overdrive’s the best game I’ve played all year and I’ll be surprised if anything tops it anytime soon.”

Could this mean a sequel is also coming, with Sunset Overdrive packaged in as a Play Anywhere title? Probably not, but a man can dream.

Back in 2016, Insomniac said it would love the game to come to PC, but that it was up to Microsoft whether it would happen.

Insomniac CEO Ted Price has also said his studio is open to making a sequel, but that they would look for a new publisher and make it a multiplatform release. As Price explained at the game's launch, it was an Xbox exclusive so Insomniac could hold on to the IP – something it failed to do with the Ratchet & Clank, Spyro the Dragon, and Resistance franchises.
