The Grand Final of this year’s League of Legends Oceanic Pro League will be held at Sydney’s Luna Park on August 8, 2015, Riot Games Oceania has announced.

The Oceanic Pro League launched in February, and is the first professional esports league in Oceania.

The Grand Final will be Riot’s first standalone event in the region. The winning team will go on to represent Oceania at the International Wildcard Tournament to fight for a spot at the World Championships in Europe.

Alongside the main attraction, there will be cosplay competitions and workshops starting at 11am AEST. There are 1,300 seats available for the live final and ticket holders will also score a show bag including a skin code, a t-shirt, and more.

The Grand Final will kick off at 5pm AEST.

“We invite all Oceanic players to come to the OPL Grand Final. Even if you don’t manage to get a ticket, there will be plenty of free community activities and screens around the park to watch the live broadcast,” said Riot Games Oceania country manager Mirko Gozzo.

Tickets are AU$15, and are available here.

“There’s nothing quite like live esports and I can’t wait to hear the roar of the crowd during the Finals,” said Riot Games Oceania esports manager Daniel Ringland.
