A patent for a Move controller that can provide temperature feedback to a player by heating up or cooling down has been published online.

According to the patent, the controller could heat up as an automatic weapon is fired, or when the player is struck by a fireball or explosion.

It could also change colour as it heats up – from blue to green to orange to red, for example.

Another scenario outlined in the patent involves the controller helping players to find hidden objects in a game by growing colder the farther away the player is from them, and warmer as they draw nearer.

The patent also outlines a system wherein a biometric sensor detects how sweaty a player’s hands are and cools them automatically.
