A plethora of DLC has been announced today, so without further ado:

DC Universe Online is getting Halloween-themed DLC, Sony has revealed.

The pack, called The Witching Hour, adds new costumes, missions and a story arc to the game.

The story involves Klarion the Witch Boy, who has been stealing the powers of Heroes and Villains throughout the DC Universe and using them to cause Halloween mischief on the streets of Gotham City. It will be up to players to save the civilians or exacerbate the situation further, depending if they are a hero or villain.

The content will go live on the game's PC Test server soon, as part of Game Update 19. It will then roll out to public servers nearer Halloween.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is getting its third DLC pack, Khyber Strike.

The pack includes new multiplayer maps, a new multiplayer game mode called “Takeover”, a new Guerrilla Mode co-op map, new achievements, and an increased level cap of +10.

Ubisoft has detailed the maps thus:

Switchback: Step off the main road leading down into the city and into a maze of ancient buildings and narrow alleys. The twists and turns of the alleyways turn every corner into a close-quarters deathtrap.

Palace: There’s no time for reflection even in this magnificent relic. What once was a museum dedicated to showing the glories of the past is now a battlefield, with a massive courtyard at the heart of its contested ground.

Transit: A Moscow metro station makes for close quarters and close-range combat. Trains pulling into and out of the station add to the danger as Ghosts and Bodark slug it out underground.

Takeover is straight team deathmatch with points scored for eliminating enemies, with the addition of multipliers when enemy objectives are under friendly control.

Guerrilla Mode map Village is for four players online or two players in local split screen, and features sniper-friendly alleyways that run between war-damaged buildings, as well as a gas station that may be detonated.

Khyber Strike will be available for download on October 9 on Xbox 360 for 800 Microsoft points, and on October 10 on PS3 with price still to be confirmed. A PC version will follow.

Endless Space DLC Rise of the Automatons hits Steam today and is free, Iceberg Interactive and Amplitude Studios has announced.

However, before applying the update players need to finish their current game as the add-on is incompatible with old saves.

According to the developers, included are:

The new Automatons custom faction
GUI changes such as a new Trade Route panel and Empire Management screen
Upgraded and updated diplomacy and alliance options
Improved hero management
Improved AI
Fixes, amendments and changes

Modern Warfare 3 gets two new multiplayer modes today, Money In The Denk and Hardcore 3v3 Face-Off. The latter is straightfoward, the former is based on the existing Sabotage game mode, with a custom ruleset in place.

Finally, three New Super Mario Bros. 2 DLC packs will be available separately or as a bundle from October 4. The Gold Rush Pack tasks players with grabbing 30,000 coins, the Coin Challenge Pack throws in leaderboard challenges, and the Nerve-Wrack Pack cranks up the game's difficulty.
