League of Legends will soon feature a wider selection of female champion body types, claims Riot Games.

Speaking at Comic-Con (as reported by Polygon), League of Legends producer Omar Kendall answered a fan question about female diversity in the game, stating that Riot was investigating "new strategies for what our champions look like".

"It's something that we're paying a lot more attention to now and you'll see that soon," he said.

The developer was looking at different body types and shapes, said Kendall.

"How can we make [a champion] that's not like all these other guys?" he asked rhetorically.

Most of League of Legends' female champions are slim, athletic, and busty, whereas the male champions are much more diverse group.

A new female champion coming to the game soon would reflect Riot’s new stance, said Kendall.
