MechWarrior Online is going into open beta next week.

The PC-only title is currently in closed beta, with only those who have paid for premium accounts able to play.

Premium account pre-order bonuses are available until the end of the week.

Mech visual customisation is coming to the game in November, with player-created art able to be applied the month after.

Mechwarrior Online will be free-to-play, and runs on CryEngine 3. A release date has not been announced.
