Western Australia authorities have placed another hurdle in front of the state receiving an R18+ rating for video games.
Despite Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales passing the proposed R18+ amendments to the Classification Act, Western Australia is sending the proposed amendment to a committee for further investigation.
The amendments have already been seen by a committee, sent to one in February by the Federal government.
Submissions regarding the amendments are open to the public, whose contact details are available on the Australian Parliament’s website.
The committee is due to report bits findings on November 6.
