Sony is allowing 200 members of the public into its E3 press event.

The 200 will be given entry on a first-in, first-served basis, and those lucky enough to get in will get the thrill of sitting in the same room as a thousand or so game journalists.

Hopeful attendees must be at least 21 years of age and enter the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena no later than 3:30 p.m. for check in.

Those who cannot attend the event in person will be able to view it via live streams on the PlayStation Blog, PlayStation Home, PlayStation.com, through the Nico Nico app on the PlayStation Vita, on Ustream, Google Plus and Facebook.

Sony's E3 conference will begin at 10:30am EST on Tuesday, 5 June 2012.
