Sledgehammer brought an in-game character image from "Call of Duty 2014" to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco last month.
The image, posted by IGN, shows what the developer of this year's Call of Duty claims to be "actual in-game characters".
"Call of Duty 2014" will be Sledgehammer's first full Call of Duty game. The studio was confirmed as an addition to the Call of Duty development rotation in February. It joins Treyarch and Infinity Ward.
Its addition the annual Call of Duty rotation means that Infinity Ward and Treyarch have longer to work on their own Call of Duty games.
Sledgehammer was founded by Michael Condrey and Glen Schofield who were previously at Visceral Games working on Dead Space.
